Tsubaki HF Driver

The Our new HF Driver is a super compact and light variable-speed drive with a wide speed range. It is completely maintenance-free with a specially designed non-oil lubrication construction. Speed adjustment is possible when the motor is stopped.

The Tsubaki HF-Driver uses a very simple theory to achieve smooth speed changes. When the handle  is turned, the radius between the driving face position and the friction face contact point is changed, resulting in speed change.

In the HF-Driver, Tsubaki has introduced the use of engineering plastic for the friction face, eliminating the need for lubrication. As a result, it is very easy to inspect and clean this area. The position of the handle is also easily changed.

Speed can easily be changed even when the motor is not running, because the cam can adjust to contact stress in relation to transmitted torque. Low contact pressure also results in a longer life span for the HF-Driver.
