Continuous motion, stoppage, and
accumulation
Free-Flow Conveyor Chain allows
continuous motion and free speed control of objects while also providing
the ability to stop and/or accumulate conveyed items at a work station
or other functional location. Tsubaki manufactures several types of
free-flow chain, including Top Roller, Outboard Roller, and Roller
Table; and our revolutionary Double Plus Chain, which permits conveyed
items to travel 2.5 times faster than the chain drive speed. A variety
of features are available within this wide selection, such as
electro-conductive plastic rollers to counter static electricity and
dust, as well as anti-corrosion and low noise features to suit
application requirements in a variety of industries.

Very
quiet operation is the main advantage of using Tsubaki's Double Plus
Chain. Because materials transported on the chain move 2.5 times faster
than the chain itself, motor speeds can be reduced thereby cutting down
on noise and costs. Safety is ensured by the extra-large, engineering
plastic center rollers which allow for installation of a chain cover.
The original design of Tsubaki's aluminum
guide rail is standardized for easy installation.

roller chain
The
construction of our Plastic Side Roller Chain makes for a highly compact
conveyor system. This is further enhanced by the chain's capacity to
flex backward, requiring minimum space on the return side of the
operation. Since a large number of rollers can be installed, a conveyor
can easily be made where small objects are placed directly on the chain.
Quick starting is also possible by installing high friction brake
rollers.

roller table
Line
pressure is notably reduced during accumulation because of the low
rolling friction coefficient of Roller Table's plastic rollers (µ= 0.06
to 0.10). This low rolling friction coefficient protects conveyed
objects from being damaged and enables smooth divergence and confluence
on the conveyor. In addition, smooth transfer to the next line is
ensured by special attachments between strands that are flush with the
rollers.
