• For Normal Conditions:

• For Clean Conditions:
  In environments where lubrication cannot be tolerated or is impractical, Lambda Lube-Free self lubricating chains offer extended service life without the need to lubricate.
• For Wet Conditions:
  Water (for example, in a sterilizer or water screen), may cause excessive wear due to insufficient lubrication, and rust may shorten chain life. In this case, a larger chain size provides more bearing area and lower bearing pressure in the chain joints leading to longer service life. Stainless steel, nickel-plated, or NEP corrosion resistant chains offer rust protection in wet conditions.
• For Corrosive Environments:
  Corrosive environments may cause excessive chain wear. Hydrogen embrittlement may occur in an acidic atmosphere, and, in special cases, electrochemical corrosion may occur on the chain due to sea or mine water.
